TIME FOR OUR ANNUAL BAZZAR

The signs are all out in front of the church. All of the freezers are filled to capacity. Gorgeous woodwork, textiles, painted objects, art, food and desserts abound. Oh, and did I mention the pottery? Well, there is no mistaking it… it’s time for the St. James Annual Bazaar!

What has been a year in the making begins tomorrow morning starting at 9:00 am. For months now, dozens of St. James members have been giving their time and their talents to ensure this year’s bazaar will be a wonderful, community event. They have been creating beautiful things beyond any expectation. As I look around the parish hall I am in awe of the talents of the people of our parish.

You might wonder why so many people, give so much of their time, to make this event such a success. I am convinced it’s because it is a labor of love. Love of art, love of camaraderie, love of expression, love of church, love of Jesus and love for the many, many nameless people that receive the benefits of St. James’ outreach ministries.

From the bottom of my heart, and in the name of the nameless, I thank God for every one of you and the work you have done. May God continue to bless the people of St. James and the work we do in the name of our Lord.
